Ready to FlyWelcome to Ready to Fly, the offical weblog of Craig Stewart. July 27 Long Tme, No SeeWell, it has obviously been a while since there were any updates at all to my blog here. My wife, who has become an internet / MySpace.com power-user, suggested tonight that I should update my own blog. So, with her guidance, I've updated theme, rearranged the layout, added some pictures, and posted this blog entry.
Some of the old content has been removed. When I got married, I changed internet service providers from Comcast to BellSouth (now the new AT&T ;)). A lot of the old content - particularly most of the pictures that were included with blog entries, was stored on a Comcast server and got deleted. Oh well... I guess since I've basically started a new married life I can sorta start the blog space over too.
I don't know how often things will be updated. Just being honest, I doubt there will be frequent updates. I don't have as much time for this type of stuff as I did when I started it. That's a good thing, though. So, until next time...

~ Craig What is a "trousseau"?Just what is a "trousseau"? Well, some definitions can be found via a Google (see link at bottom of e-mail). However, what I've learned is that a "trousseau" is the new set of clothes that both the bride and groom purchase before getting married. My initial understanding was that this was a new set of clothes that you first wear on the honeymoon. However, I now understand that is not necessarily the case. You see, last Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) Paige went to the mall to shop for our trousseaus. She got me several nice shirts and some new pairs of pants (khakis and jeans) and some new dress shoes. And you know what? I like all of the my clothes. I proudly wore a new shirt, pants, and shoes to church on Sunday. I'm thrilled that she's going to take care of me in this way. She also got a few things for herself. There's some work left to be done, but it's been started. So, to those friends of mine who have said of the trousseau: "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of" or "She's getting one over on you", well, I don't know how customary a trousseau is in the 21st century, but I do know that we're having fun with it and will like the new clothes.
